How to use STROG
Real-time market intelligence for large-cap stocks, indices, commodities and crypto.
STROG aggregates prices, volumes, corporate events, insider transactions and market sentiment, condensing them into six modules: Dash, Instant, Flow, Feed, Insider and Portfolio. Each one answers a different question — together they give you a 360° view of short-term market conditions without digging through multiple data sources. The base tier is free; Plus and Premium unlock advanced views and modules (see Plans below).
Module 01
Dash
The landing dashboard. Six market-state widgets that, glanced together, summarise the overall mood of the market: heatmap, Fear & Greed, the FTW 64 World Index, Buffett Indicator, PUT/CALL ratio and the US Treasury yield curve.
Free widgets
Heatmap, Fear & Greed Index and FTW 64 World Index — the baseline picture of market temperature, sentiment and breadth.
Plus widgets
Buffett Indicator (market cap / GDP), aggregate PUT/CALL ratio and the live US Treasury yield curve — macro context for the technical signals.
How to read it
- · Start your day on Dash to get an overall read before drilling into any module.
- · Extreme readings on Fear & Greed often mark short-term turning points worth watching.
- · A flattening yield curve (Plus) historically precedes risk-off rotations — useful context for the rest of the platform.
Module 02
Instant
The main table ranks every tracked stock by a composite score from 0 to 100. A higher score indicates stronger short-term conditions — it does not predict price direction, but signals where multiple factors are aligned for a potential move.
Statistical
14-day RSI, 50/200-day moving average crossovers, and volume deviation from the 30-day average. Measures technical momentum.
Seasonal
Proximity to earnings dates, ex-dividend dates, and major macro events — FOMC, CPI, NFP, ECB. Captures calendar-driven catalysts.
Sentiment
Fear & Greed Index read as a contrarian signal — extreme fear can indicate oversold conditions worth watching.
How to read it
- · Sort by Total Score to see the highest-conviction setups at a glance.
- · Filter by sector or region to narrow focus to your area of interest.
- · Click any row to open a detail panel with the full financial snapshot, key ratios and an interactive chart.
- · Scores are recalculated daily — check back each morning for updated rankings.
Module 03
Flow
An interactive globe showing where capital is moving across global markets. Each dot represents a tracked stock, positioned by its country of listing. The page also includes market clocks so you know which sessions are currently open.
Flow Intensity
A composite score based on traded volume and price change. Larger, brighter dots mean stronger flows — money actively entering or exiting a position.
Filters
The Region and Sector dropdowns isolate specific market segments. Both the map and the ranked list below update instantly when a filter is applied.
How to read it
- · Scan the globe for clusters of large dots — these indicate concentrated activity in a region or country.
- · Scroll down to the list view for a ranked breakdown with precise volume and change figures per stock.
- · Cross-reference with the Instant Score to check whether the flow is backed by strong technical conditions.
Module 04
Feed
A curated stream of market-moving headlines, each linked to a specific tracked stock. Every article is tagged automatically with a trend signal derived from the stock's price action at the time of publication.
Bullish
The stock gained more than +1% around the time of the article — the market reacted positively to the news.
Bearish
The stock fell more than −1% around the time of the article — the market reacted negatively to the news.
Neutral
Price moved less than ±1% — the headline had limited immediate impact on the stock.
How to read it
- · Use the feed to understand the narrative behind a stock's recent move before acting on a score.
- · A bearish article on a high-scoring stock can signal a short-term dip worth watching.
- · Multiple bullish articles in quick succession on the same ticker reinforce a strong Instant Score reading.
Module 05
Insider
A live feed of insider transactions — company officers, directors and 10% shareholders buying or selling shares of their own company. Sourced from SEC Form 4 filings, refreshed daily. Foreign issuers (e.g. ADRs of EU/Asian companies) are excluded from US Form 4 obligations and clearly labelled.
Buys
Insider purchases on the open market. Often the strongest signal — insiders rarely buy unless they expect upside they can't already get from compensation.
Sells
Insider sales. Less predictive (diversification, tax, divorce, planned 10b5-1 plans), but clusters of large sells from multiple officers warrant attention.
Aggregates
Last 90 days net flow per ticker, sortable by size and recency. Currency conversions to USD applied to non-US filings (with audit trail).
How to read it
- · A cluster of insider buys on a high-Instant-Score stock is a strong corroborating signal.
- · Single small buys can be cosmetic; multi-insider, multi-million-dollar transactions carry far more weight.
- · Cross-reference with the Feed: insider buys ahead of an earnings catalyst are particularly notable.
Module 06
Portfolio
A portfolio builder that runs a Markowitz Monte Carlo optimization over the FTW 64 universe and returns an allocation tailored to your strategy. Five strategies are available (Balanced, Aggressive, Conservative, Momentum, Value), each weights risk and return differently. Generated portfolios are saved to your account.
Optimization
Monte Carlo simulation across thousands of random allocations, picking the one with the best Sharpe ratio under your strategy's constraints. Expected return, volatility and Sharpe are shown for each saved portfolio.
Calendar (coming)
Cross-portfolio view of upcoming dividends, IPO dates and macro releases, so you know what's coming on the names you hold without leaving STROG.
How to read it
- · Pick the strategy that matches your risk tolerance — Conservative minimises drawdowns; Aggressive maximises expected return.
- · Re-run after major Instant Score shifts to capture rotations within the FTW 64.
- · Allocations are theoretical — execute through your broker; STROG does not place orders.
